Jeanines - "Coaxed A Storm"

Jeanines are back with another jangly gem, and “Coaxed A Storm” is exactly the kind of breezy, bittersweet tune that reminds you why they’ve become a staple in the indie pop underground. The Brooklyn duo has proven themselves to be consistent in their ability to absolutely nail those simple, yet elusive elements that make the best pop songs of the genre truly stand out. Since the release of their self-titled LP in 2019, their penchant for blending C86-inspired shimmer with a touch of melancholy has continued to wax, and this track is the current pinnacle.
