Bayonne-based Rotoscope tops a bill that features Brooklyn’s Tea Eater, San Francisco dream-psych rockers Grooblen, and a solo set from Nordista Freeze, who is attempting to perform a world record 50 shows in 50 states in only 30 days!

New Jersey indie pop darlings Lightheaded recently shared their second album, Thinking, Dreaming, Scheming, on legendary imprint Slumberland Records. Giant Day, which features members of Olivia Tremor Control, Marshmallow Coast, and of Montreal, will also be passing through on the heels of their new album Alarm, which is out on October 10th via Elephant 6. Rounding out the bill is Jersey City’s own power trio Joy Cleaner and Wild Carnation! DJ Look At My Records will be spinning goth and indie vinyl all night and Hoboken Jack Silbert will be the master of ceremonies!

Tom will be DJing at the Historic Harsimus Cemetery on Friday, October 24th for the Ghost of Uncle Joe’s! He’ll be curating a set of all GOTH vinyl under his Halloween alter ego: Tom Gallows of Don’t Look At My Records!

For those who’ve never attended, Ghost of Uncle Joe’s is an incredible annual event held in the Historic Jersey City and Harsimus Cemetery. Local bands and artists dress up and perform as legendary bands (i.e. Ramones, The Stroke, etc.). In recent years, the event has evolved into a multi-day affair with two nights of performances at the cemetery and after parties at Jersey City watering holes like Pet Shop, Porta, Low Fidelity Bar, and more.

The Friday 10/24 show at the cemetery features bands/artists performing as Viagra Boys, Black Sabbath, Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, and more. The show starts at 5:30 pm and tickets are available now via Eventbrite.

Look At My Records! is excited to be teaming up with Ukraine Mutual Aid for another AWESOME benefit show on Thursday, October 2nd at Pet Shop in Jersey City!

RAGE FOR UKRAINE will feature performances from Best Dressed Ghost, Little Cliff, and Van Chamberlain. Plus, there will be drink specials at the bar and brand-new Ukraine Mutual Aid merch! Plus, raffles from local businesses.

Admission is free and doors are at 7 p.m. Pet Shop is located at 193 Newark Ave. in Downtown Jersey City.

Greaser Phase, an awesome garage rock project fronted by Jersey City’s own Jonny Couch, will be making their live debut at Pet Shop on Thursday, August 14th! They’ll be playing alongside Zack Keim and The Burkharts, who will be touring together in August.
