Of all the groups to emerge out of the United Kingdom in the late 1970s, XTC remains one of the most influential, as their impact continues to be felt among a new generation of songwriters. Though the band never quite achieved significant mainstream success, they enjoy underground cult status amongst diehard fans across the globe. Tom considers himself one of these XTC fanatics, having poured over each and every one of their LPs, singles, and EPs over the course of his life. On the August 18th, 2018 live edition of Look At My Records! on Radio Free Brooklyn, Tom celebrated the 30th anniversary of Seattle based independent record label, Sub Pop.  This playlist highlights some of Tom's personal favorite artists and songs from the label's storied three decade history.  In addition, the playlist contains some bonus tracks that had to be cut from the August 18th broadcast due to time constraints.
